alright Im new to the jeep world, I have a yj jeep and I just bought a hardtop for it. Does this hardtop need latches in the front or not can anyone help me out Im going crazy...

The YJ hardtop screws to the windsheild frame after removing soft top rail. It fixes with machine screws through about 6 holes, I seem to remember' or if the holes are hogged out you can use rivnuts................ various places, Quadratrac etc do two overcentre catches to replace the machine screws and make the fixing similar to the TJ hardtop.
