what to do about my 3.07 ratio....
« on: April 24, 2012, 05:45:56 PM »

Ok, so I've got a 98 tj with 31" tyres , Dana 30 / Dana 44 with std tracloc/lsd.
its not the end of the world but this is what I'm thinking.
There must be 3.73 axles or gears around for not a lot?
Would it be easier / cheeper to find a set of axles and swap them, then sell mine on rather
than a regear? Or just not worry about using 5th to much

will cost you to regear, new ring and pinions and setting up and then whilst it is out shall i fit lockers, rebuild that LSD ?

i would leave it as is on 31's and do it if you go up to 33's in the future  :icon_winkle:
