Axle weight - AMC 20 & Dana 30 (& shipping ideas)
« on: May 10, 2012, 02:15:43 PM »

Im trying to find the weights of the AMC 20 and Dana 30 axles to work out a shipping price to Jedi (Maidstone to Lincolnshire), anyone got any links etc or ideas?

And anyone shipped large axles? They are too big for a pallet, and altho I can lift and shift the 20 on my own for short distances im not even sure a courier is gonna take it as I have seen some very McWimpy drivers pickin up my stuff  :003:

Cheers gents :greggmo:

no idea on couriers but I'm driving to Louth at the end of July and could probably drag em up if they are on a trailer and they were a bit nearer me to start with

half way to there bein a birty express then  :003:

unfortunately after fuckin up the espace by filling it carpets with various oils (gearbox oil smells of cats piss :003: ) I am on a ban for putting axles or owt else in the xc, and it will be cost prohibitive in the Chief - so unless anyone is goin Bristol ish way via maidstone .......... ?

Jedi is in lincolnshire

I reckoned from the off a van for the day would be best but may as well have a look around

Cant say for sure it should of been last month! but im going to have to take a trip down to Lewes fairly soon to check the site out and find a decent pub/ B+B to stay in for two or three weeks. So if Jedi can hang on for a few weeks they can get thrown in the Hilux and i can meet up with him somewhere up the A1 or they can come back to Halifax until he has time to pick them up.

WIll only cost you £199.99  :hysterical:
