I have been looking for some new auxiliary lights for the WJ and came across this new UK company.

I have spoke to the MD, who is a really nice bloke and as some of you know i am looking for work so if this company become a success i may get some work out of it so please take a look at their web-site.

They are built in the UK and far superior in Lumens output to the US and Chinese imports. Below is a video showing their power.

Loving the GLARE coming back off the bonnet. Main reason i moved my floods back down to the bumper hoop. Loads of light from up there, but wasted as your eyes are watering from the bounce back...

Seem to recall Dr Pavelin was getting hold of LED light bars, might be worth seeing how much his are.

The glare from top mounted lights is a pain. I've got no pics to show, but to solve the problem, I fitted a flat piece of s/s, like a sill, on top of the bar, but under the lights and this cast a shadow that extended to about 2m in front of the truck...no bonnet glare! A bit of pissing about to get it how you want, but worth it. Just drill the holes in the s/s and elongate them so you can slide it back and forth to get the desired effect. If I'd been cleverer at the time, I would have made a template out of cardboard and tried that first, but I'm not known for being clever..just persistent!

They're really expensive, and we are taking delivery of the next generation units with the CREE 10W LEDs in a couple of weeks. The 42" 1900 lumen bar will be at least a couple of hundred cheaper than their T-22.

A 20w 6" 2 LED unit produces 1900 Lumens, which is slightly more and a much whiter light than a standard 55W halogen bulb. Other sizes are available. These are single row units. Double row units are also available, eg. a 6 inch 4 LED unit 3800 lumens at 40Watts (equivalent output to a 35W HiD) up to a 42" 40 LED with a retina frying 38000 lumen at 400 Watts.

I would be interested to compare your products with Lazerlamps, Rigid industries and HiDS.

What sizes will be available and what would be the specs?

The big USP for Lazer Lamps is that are EU approved for ON-road use for the RS and ST range and did i mention they are british designed and built.

We do not claim type approval for our lamps, they are for offroad use. In reality, as soon as you bolt any accessory to your car, you void it's entire type approval as a vehicle anyway, e mark or not, unless that accessory was specifically type approved for that particular vehicle.

Size available are 6" to 42" in single or double row.

What water resistant standard are the Lazer lamps? IP 67?

As i do not work for Lazer lamps just trying to drum up some business for a UK firm and hope to get a role from it.

I have sent a mail to find out, If they have not i know how to get IP environmental testing as i worked for TUV in the past.
