Blue is the conventional glycol mix, the red/orange is environmentally friendly so you can "dispose down the drain" whereas the green was the inbetween mix of semi environmental friendly anti freeze.

As IOM says all is suitable and have a 50-50 mix

I'm pretty sure the red/orange (G-05/long life) coolants are ethylene glycol based and shouldn't be tipped down the drain as they are still toxic to aquatic life. They are more environmentally friendly as they only need changing every five years instead of every two.

Yep just checked...
ETHYLENE GLYCOL
Environmental precautions: Do not discharge into drains or rivers.
Very toxic to aquatic organisms.

None of them can go down the drain but if they happen to spill accidentally it's better they go down a foul sewer (the bog) and not surface water drains (like on side of road).

Use anything in the 4.0. I have pink in mine but that's just cos I like the colour  :gay-flag-28:

and if you do spill it on the drive don't leave it...... Your cat and. Dog will find it attractive to lick and. Get very ill.

neutralise with cheapest supermarket vinegar......drive won't smell nice but you're cat and dog will stay healthy :icon_biggrin:
