Replacing track rod end
« on: January 13, 2013, 07:28:09 PM »

So my Jeep GC 2.7 crd  2002 passed the (mot) but had an advisory for a loose track rod end at the pitman arm offside. Should get the part this week. Any advice on replacing it myself. It looks quite straight forward appart from trying to seperate the arm.

either get OEM parts or Moog from 4playjeep most of the pattern parts out there are pants and you will be doing it again next year.

Don't know where UK Moog parts are produced, but it seems US parts are now made in Mexico, and the consensus seems to be that they've gone downhill in quality.
