Light cluster for hardtop
« on: March 08, 2013, 03:12:43 PM »

Just bought the following

to fit to a hard top (when I find one!) any hints or tips in fitting it? I'm going to spray it up. Get the hoops chromed and bond it in place.
Should look good I hope.

looks a bit too rounded on the corners to fit without some modding, would have said bond it but not sure you will have enough contact area

I may bolt it and seal the holes . Will see how it fits once I find a hardtop.

Sorry but I can't picture it with that Pod.
You'll be 'stuck' with it as well or end up with holes in the roof like cop cars if you change your mind.
One option may be to wrap a bracket round and under the roof onto the header rail; provided theres enough gasket give on the hardtop.
