try cleaning the switch first, if not replace

another job on the list, then aswell as
front & rear pinion oil seals
radiator
get the gearbox guard off, all six bolts are spinny spin spin  so I can,
sort out the t/case linkage, won't go into 4 low,

& it steers like a

Blackmagicbrakes.com do replacement nutsert kits for the transfer case skid. You might need to contact them about shipping cost to uk though.

The thing with those nutsert s is you need the right tool, anything over 10mm and you need an electric/air insert gun.

But saying that, nice find bud
