From the research I've done you shouldn't need them till you go over 4.5" of lift.

At the front you can adjust the caster angle back to original using shims.

I am at 4.5 and I have front lowers to fit, when it eventually stops raining up here.

My RE 4.5" (that netted me more like 5.5") only had adjustable uppers.  Does quite well for me.
