What pas fluid should I use in my 2000 WJ 4.7l, am I right in thinking it should be MS5931 and NOT ATF+4?

Its just that it's got a red coloured fluid in like ATF

Use ATF+4. That's a synthetic ATF, don't use Dexron.

Cheers for the replies, pretty confused now as everywhere you look it seems to be 50/50 on whether to use ATF+4 or not. It currently has red ATF in it and I'm changing the steering box on it, what is the easiest way to drain the rest of the ATF out?
