CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
« on: July 17, 2014, 02:18:58 PM »

Hello,Hi
Please can anyone help me with the position of the Crankshaft position sensor on my 2.8l crd auto.
Had management light last on last week, did key off/on thing to see codes, then had it read & Crankshaft sensor was what came up on plugging in.Had codes cleared, to see if just a 1 off, obviously not, as same code is showing on display after doing the key in ignition thing. Same symptons as before, so ordered new sensor.
Now wondering whether easy fix I can do, or is it a garage jobby....

Should be un-plug old one from wiring & unscrew the sensor from the body as far as I know
