Quick axle Question...?
« on: May 03, 2006, 12:23:23 PM »

I'm looking at diff guards from specialist leisure on ebay. There's one for the Dana 35 and one for the Dana 44, anyone know which axles will be on my '97 XJ??  :?

Cheers

If you've got to have diff guards, go for the warn type that are made out of plate.
The most use they are going to be is as a slider so you don't get hung up on the diff.
Unless you're into serious rock crawling, I don't see the point of the cage type, it's just someting else to snagg on stuff.

Just my thoughts.

Got a Rusy's guard on the front, Made of steel plate and very tough. Didn't bother with the rear as I tend to drive everywhere forwards.
