How to find out your original build list
« on: February 19, 2015, 11:56:04 AM »

Hey guys,

I came across this little gem and wasn't sure if its wildly known or not, so just in case:

https://jeep.custhelp.com/app/jeep/eqlisting_detail/session/L3RpbWUvMTM5MzY0MzI4OC9zaWQvWGxOMmc2T2w%3D

For all vehicles built after 1998, you can put your VIN in and it will generate a PDF with the original build spec for your car.  I did it on mine, and it worked a treat!

It doesn't always work - but Jeep customer services seem to be able to help if it doesn't and I managed to get the build sheet for our TJ via email a while back.

There's a form on Jeep/Chrysler US somewhere (different to that one, but I can't remember how to find it!) that I filled out with a false address to get the actual build sheet for my XJ and mum's TJ  8-)
