ABS Light Problem on Jeep KJ Solved
« on: October 01, 2015, 08:16:52 PM »

Number One Son has had a problem with his 03 KJ where the ABS and Handbrake lights were staying on. Much searching of the interweb pointed to a faulty rear sensor or pinched wiring.

Having checked al the normal things without any result, we then started trying to isolate the ABS lamp to make it go out. When we pulled the 20A ABS fuse in the PDC we found that the connector for the fuse had corroded away.

Fitted new connector.....................Problem solved.

Just thought the info might help anyone with a similar problem.

Good information, my Dad has had those lights come on in the past but I think it was a sensor in rear diff (don't really know KJs) and some long journeys and and oil change fixed it - not sure how but hey ho.
