Bolt Threads???

Are all threads on CJ7s the same type and what are they called ? bsc, bsf, UNC?  confused  by non metric car!!!   thanks

Majority are UNC but there are some UNF on there too, but these are mainly to do with the seat belts and seat mounts themselves,
Some of the brake parts may be metric too, depending on what year :003:

as above the majority will be UNC, seat belt bolts will be UNF just like in modern cars which never went metric for this particular bolt.

A unc can be recut to metric as all it does is change the pitch but make sure you have sufficient bolt in the thread to crreate a secure loading
