Hi there this is my first post on forum .Can anyone please advise me on the location of the bolts and how many ,that need to removed to disconnect downpipe from turbo unit so I can get exhaust manifold and turbo off vehicle .  Is it the Allen key ones ? been at this job far to long now .

think there are 5? in the back of the turbo - best bet is to remove the 3 nuts that hold the turbo to the manifold - watch it as these are soft

If you are trying to change heads then leave them bolted to the heads, take out head bolts etc and lift the heads and manifolds and downpipe as one - then separate when out.

then when you put back change the top studs to bolts - much easier to change them next time :hysterical:

Thanks for That! Guess that makes sense . I have the two front heads off may put nuts back on manifold to just pull out other two as downpipe is disconnected . One other question cant seem to get second valve lifter out of block any advise would be great . The one that was damaged came out easy .
