Grille swap on a CJ

I have bitten the bullet and bought a replacement (Crown) radiator grill for my 79 CJ.


(Just the right side of 200 quid... but the old one is just too moth-eaten...)


Any hints and tips? Or should I just attack the old one with a cutting disc and work it out as I go along?
