does anyone know if any other jeep models wiper motors fit in a tj?

Not according to the cross reference on Rockauto.com. There's just a split 97-02 and 03-06.

Having said that, other wiper motors could be made to fit, even if it means the mounting holes need drilling out.

Have you had it apart/thought of cleaning it up. I know there was a write up on Jeepforum.com that some have followed with success.

turns out racing without a screen in the Uk isn't such a plan!

Jeep mag forced a YJ screen onto a TJ some years ago......means you can have wipers motor and screen held on by 6 bolts and a plug....
Just a thought.
