Jeep WK question ?
« on: January 18, 2019, 08:27:58 AM »

1) Should my Jeep self lock when you drive off as our WJ does but the WK does not. Can't seem to find an option in the menu but might be looking in the wrong place.

2) My horn has just started to sound continually for no reason either as I drive or am parking. It has done it twice now for no reason - it switches off after about a minute.

Any clues as to the cause please ? Is the alarm sounder & the horn the same unit ?

Automatic Door Locks
If this feature is selected your door locks will lock
automatically if the vehicle speed is above 15 mph (24
km/h) and all doors are closed. It will reset whenever a
door is opened.
This feature is selectable and can be turned on or off.
Refer to “Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) —
Customer Programmable Features” in Section 4 of this
manual or see your authorized dealer.

Now where is bl**dy section 4  :003:

Found it :

Personal Settings (Customer Programmable Features)
Personal Settings allows the driver to set and recall features when the transmission is in P (Park).
Press and release the MENU button until Personal Settings displays in the EVIC.

Use the SCROLL button to display one of the following choices:

Auto Door Locks When Y (YES) is selected, all of the doors will lock automatically when the vehicle reaches a speed of 15 mph (24 km/h). To make your selection, press and release the FUNCTION SELECT button until “Y (YES)” or “N (NO)” appears.

Auto Unlock On Exit When Y (YES) is selected, all of the doors will unlock
when the vehicle is stopped and the transmission is in the P (Park) or N (Neutral) position and the driver’s door is opened. To make your selection, press and release the FUNCTION SELECT button until “Y (YES)” or “N (NO)” appears.
