« on: July 26, 2006, 09:58:15 PM »

Hello all,

Just a quickie, having trouble wiring up the winch, does it matter which way F1 and F2 are wired up? my understanding was that all this would do would reverse the winch

I am no expert on this, but if I am right all it will do is reverse the way the winch works when you plug the control lead in.

I guess someone else will be able to shed more light on the question. :?:

What do you mean by F1 and F2?

I suspect F1 and F2 are +ve and -ve. I know little of winches, but as I understand it, they're not just a motor, so reversing polarity if there's solenoids or electronics in there isn't gonna work.

if they are back to front the winch will just go the opposite way to the symbol on the remote. so just try it and if its wrog just swap em around.
