Seat Covers
« on: September 02, 2006, 05:11:20 PM »

As I rather like having the windows down when I greenlane or generally offroad I need to get some seat covers to protect the leather.

Any recomendations for some decent seat cover for ZG?

Seen these on ebay but not sure how different the XG and ZG interiors are.

I've got a couple of the Monarch covers from Cover King http://http://www.coverking.co.uk/seat.html - about £35 per pair inc delivery IIRC.  Site indicates that a rear cover is available too.  Fit well, do the job, and seem to be everything proof.  They make cheaper nylon ones too.

I got a set of them in the XJ, front and rears.  They're tuff as old boots and do the job well.  The fronts are real easy to fit, the back one is a bit of a fiddle though.  You need arms about eight feet long to do it on your own without having to run back and forwrds around the truck.

How did you get on with this Rikk...

Ive ordered some covers for the tj from coverking, hopefully here tmrw...

it turns out that the company is only a few miles from me so they will deliver to my address for free..

Although its probably too late now for cf if any birty wants some in the future and is coming to a meet or event if they are delivered to me i will bring them along..

Might save a little bit on p&p..

Had a nightmare few days and totally forgot about it till yesterday which was a bit late for the weekend so ended up going to Halfords and picked up some there, front ones are fine just need to try the back out tomorow.

See how they go for now then will get a better fitting set at some point.
