Ok my turn messing about under driver side dash (tiding wires up hanging down) now when closing door interior lights don’t go off, also when locking with fob lights would go off straight away but now stay on in short the bloody will not go off. Which fuse is it as going away Thursday will do with out. 25td xj 1996.

on XJs if you twist the headlamp switch then it dims/brightens the instument cluster, if you you twist it all the way till it clicks then it turns the interior lights on.

Same on a TJ twist untill it clicks and interia lights stop on,

My Dads TJ kept having a flat battery didn't know why untill we went out at night, thought it must of been a fault with the door switch so we took bulbs out, a few months later was looking in a friends TJ at night and he turned his interia lights on via the switch, so we put bulbs back and hay presto.

Only had TJ for 6 years and there are still new things to be learnt.
