I need longer shocks all round, about 3" on the zj
now what do you reckon ?
if I make up some 3" spacers for the front, to raise the mounting platforms on the front :?
& just raise the rear ones :?

3" is quite a big spacer, I've got 1" extensions courtesy of a set of bar pin eliminators, just make sure they're strong enough.
Raising the mounting point at the back seems sensible though, it's something less to catch on stuff as well.
Is it temporary? Shocks are something I would try and buy, even cheap pro-comps or some own-brands from the states. I'm sure you know from your XJ what having comfy, good shocks is like

I recently bought 3" extended pro comp shocks from here

came with all the fittings and at a good price ( + lifetime waranty) i can recommend them
