Rear number plate lamps?

help, wnet to change a bulb the other day and found that the plastic 'oval' part had destroyed itself, same on the other side, so i need 2 new wiring parts. does anyone no where i can get them from cheaper than a jeep garage or does anyone know of something different to use?

i think i may have a couple in the garage that i took off the TJ.

to put images on the site use photobucket or a similar site and then link them to here or you can upload pics to the album or just e-mail them to me. My addy is at the bottom of the post.

Crikey,

Jeep dont sell just the wiring and the two connectors that i need- they reckon i have to buy the whole plate they go through- at a cost of £65 +vat. Like im going to buy them!

Next anyone know or near a good scrappy?

The only half decent one round this way is at wokingham

Theres also padworth breakers and the van breakers place on the a4 near aldermaston if you get desperate

 :D

why not fit the nut lights i spoke of in my e-mail or get down to halfords and look at the lights for trailers etc.

It dont have to be the original spec, just adapt what you can get hold of, wiring is easy as you just have to break into what is there already  8)

nut lights were from 4wd.com and they passed the mot. I know others use them too  8)
