xj lifted sky high

just browsing the naxja site and started reading obviously.

8" clayton lift on anxj with long arm suspension running on 35's

Mik's xj (baa baa) was runin a clayton long arm set up and 37's i am sure. she belongs to some one else now  8-)

clayton seems to be top stuff!!!!
im definatly going with the 8 inch kit with rear coil conversion for my next cherokee!!!

Mik's was Clayton and Vince Bentley's is also Clayton - 8" long arm with rear coils. He runs 35" BFGs and I've had the pleasure of driving it briefly. The rear coils make it feel like a completely different vehicle, the rear is usually the stiff part on an XJ but the coils make it sway more than the front so on-road it has to be driven really differently. Solid kit though  :-D

Just liked the nice bit of engineering that goes into this sort of thing. no way i'd have mine lifted that high, Mrs Dave complains at the moment especially when the xj needs cleaning
