hi

Can anyone suggest amywhere in the UK that I can get wheel spacers for my cherokee with out getting ripped off, I have seen some on ebay but unsure

DONT BOTHER! These are not proper spacers. Not rated and have heard stories of them shearing off if put under a little load.

Proper wheel spacers look like this: They are machined to exacting measurements evening out any stress loads as much as possible when using spacers.

Is that a high price?

Probably standard pricing for proper spacers in the UK. Personaly I have run the spidertrax adapters before and would go for them every time.

This is all if your running a XJ as otherwise I wouldnt have a clue if you have a new cherry?

I've had Spider Trax spacers fitted for the last 3 years, no problems at all, 33x12.5x15 fitted with them, you do need extended flares with this set-up.

i have 4wd on another.......cant tell the difference
i think as long as they are billet they should be fine

I have a set of Scorpion racing 'Pro Spacers' fitted. They look very similar to the spider trax / 4WD items but are made from steel.



They have been fitted for over 5 years with no probs at all. These have stood up to allsorts of froadin assault and never even hinted they might not be up to it. I once managed to get the front of the jeep 4 feet in the air :-D

Bear in mind you can get some 3.75 backspaced wheels from Bronco for about the same price as billet spacers.

TBR UK do TUV specced spacers in 114x5. I've had them on my Grand for 3/4 years now with no probs at all.

Thanks for that So that wheel would be the correct back spacing?

It'll put your tyre in about the same place as a stock rim with the 32mm spacer.

Great stuff. I'm pretty sure I'll get these. Just need to choose some 31's I think.

You might have to extend your fender flares a bit with a 31 and trim the inner arch liner if you're offroading.
