air con pump

hi im just about 2 fit a air con pump 2 my grand cherry

the old 1 is all broken it doesnt seem to need a belt so i was wondering what drives the pump and am i a part missing

any ideas???

hi yes its a 97 2.5td

i got the pump 2 go on ready but looks like something is missing

The compressor is driven off the rear of the power steering pump. There should be a driveshaft about 2 inches long with a flexi drive plate on each end. This connects the PAS pump to the compressor clutch, which should be enclosed in a steel drive cup.

and there are two types of shaft types
