Hi, I probably should of asked this question before I bought it but, I've just won a superwinch EP9i for my Dads 97 TJ complete with Warn mounting plate.

After looking at the pictures the tj its coming off is a 04 plate and I know there are some changes between 97 and 04

Are the mounting plates the Same?

It may fit a 97, that mount is for 98-06 model with a warn rock crawler bumper i was watching it as well for my mates YJ but the mount was no good.

Not yet,

My brother has it at min MOTing and a few repairs, Dad picked up the winch yesterday it is Mint neverbeen used which is slightly annoying I paid £400 he paid £470 and got a plasma and warn mounting plate.
After Holymoorside he never shut up about getting a winch so he can play more, so that one came just at the right time
