Fuel Leak
« on: June 19, 2008, 06:58:50 PM »

I had a smell of petrol when driving my Wrangler the last couple of times of driving. Today I started it up and did not move off like normal and walked around the back to see fuel peeing out and running down both sides of the tank protector.
Before I pull it apart, does anyone no if a pipe may have come loose and how do I access it. The engine was running fine on tickover and stopes when the ignition is of ( fuel lines ?).
Any advice would be nice.

get some new fuel hose before you take it out, It'll be a split hose or if you are unlucky the output pipe on the pump cracked

if it is a hose it might be a good idea to replace most of the hoses that look a bit old while your there
