was told my leak ( rear main seal post) could be a separator leak?

anyone share any light on this, cos im more confused now then i ever was??

apparently they got take gear box out to inspect and fix the leak??

it dont help that my mechanical logic and knowlegde is  a big minus Zero :lol:  separator not seperator  :roll:

Did a Google and it came up with an 'Oil Separator Leak' on some blokes Boxter being mistaken for a rear main seal leak, the Boxter thread also mentioned loose filler/dipstick pipes and sump gaskets.
Sounds like someone wants another butchers under your wagon and yet another fistfull of dinaros!
