Can you help name this Jeep tune

My TJ is starting to develop a noise, sort of a whiny squeek, as I drive.
It sounds more rubbery than metal to metal, not unlike a loose belt,
Sound sort of like George Jetsons space ship.
Typically appears after driving for 15 minutes and continues.
If I stop for gas, it starts up after 5 or so minutes
most noticable around 48 to 55 MPH
Sounds like its front half of undercarriage , and driver side.
It started after a bout of Mud running, then disappeared for a month or two, only to return recently after a (slight ) mud bath.
driver and passenger hubs Hubs dont feel Hot
No noticable odor, no apparent smoke, No flames
Turning the steering wheel slightly right or left lessens the noise
this is coupled with a slight vibration, that is intermittant, like driving on smooth pavement , then going over a worn section of road then back again, every couple of car lengths. a subtle vibration though
Tire noise seems more noticable now, specially on slight turns.
Recently installed a long arm kit. ( all bolts retorqued and noise still there)
Had it in for an alignment , didn't change the vibration or the noise
recently played in not too deep mud.
Well I think that covered it, my observations on a WTF Jeep noise.
hopefully someone has an idea of where I can start narrowing this down.

Double cardan joint on front driveshaft. Take it off and see if the noise goes away.

Partially siezed UJ.
Probably at transfercase but maybe at front diff.
Get underneath and check all the UJs for play.
Wouldnt hurt to pull 'em all apart and regrease - might find a broken roller or three!

I'D agree with Mike on the cardan Joint on the front prop,try either taking it off or spraying in some WD or spray grease

yup. front prop. try a needle greaser on it but it might need a rebuild dood.

I lifted the jeep the hub bearing was toast, so I start with that. I picked them up on my lunch. they were 274 dollars for the pair,
its after 10 pm right now, and just going out to install them.
tomorrow I 'll pick up a u-joint tool ( last time I did a u-joint was with a socket and BFH). The u-joint tool should make it faster and more pleasant.
If anyone is in the neighbourhood, and feels like wrenching stop on by. I 'll supply beer and barbacue
(located 15 miles from Seattle)

Whats the average number of times a person has to remove the hub during the installation process
( keep in mind, its Salmon Season, and the wife gets me up at 4:40AM so were fishing by 5:00AM, fish till 8:30 then do 9 TO 8 shift.)
1st attempt . forgot the heat shield remembered while putting the caliper back on
2nd heat shield on backwards... while putting the rotor back on it wouldnt go
3rd attempt heat shield rotated 180 degrees noticed while putting the caliper back on
4th attempt tightening the hub nut, pulled the axle out approx 1/2 inch
5th attempt finished ................on to the next side.
No beer was killed during this process and No photographic evidence remains of the botched work
Easy job, but being knackered took its toll. Its 2 am, not going to make it fishing today..............
I guess I better have lot of extra ujoints on hand for when I mess them up.

So far i have replaced the uni bearings on both sides,the 3 u-joints, and the ball centering yolk on the front drive shaft. and the bugger is still making noise. tomorrow (I Cant work in the garage at night as the bears are still on the loose.) I will replace the u-joints on the front axles. If that dont cure the squeeking, I ama going to install a bigger amp and more speakers

I attempted to remove the U-joint from the drivers( left hand drive) axle. After removing the c clips, I tried the c-clamp press, and the socket and BFH. and it would not budge. I have to wait till I can gain access to a hydraulic press.
by then , I should have it silenced.
