Topic: will not come out of 4th gear (Read 18606 times)

Hi all, I have a cj5 with 4 speed box. just returning home on the motorway and the gearbox will change down from 4th. the gear stick will not move no matter what I do.
all was OK before that, a little hard to find 1st from reverse at times but apart from that ok.
any ideas out there, I am in the trap of selling the house so can not use the garage to much.

hi terry tell us a bit more about ya cj5 as there is a fair choice of gearbox year by year and dependant on engine and then maybe we can give some advice [darkrider is very kind but i think that was a bit of an over statement] but thank anyway darky :oops:
