Yes Nick, it's the same as last time. I don't know if there's food though as it's the Landlord's daughter's birthday do that night too.

Shame that we were planning on having a burger this time having watched everyone else eat the last time.  If their is not any food then I may be chewing on the furniture by early evening.  If Bentley is their I may even be trying to steal his dog biscuits, at least they would give me a healthy coat and good breath.

Cheers

has the admin considered setting up a member map? theres probably an addon for the forum software if not there are free ones http://http://www.bravenet.com/webtools/guestmap/

if we could see where others were based it might encourage a few more local meets

Has anything come of the member map Idea that Nosebolt had?

I am new to the club and would be interested in seeing how close my nearest Jeepers are.

We've looked at this before, and it's easy enough to do, but the problem is one of member's being bothered. You see, any mapping software requires the user have a login to the mapping site. Sadly, most members can't be bothered with all that crap of creating a login etc. If we did do it, I suspect it would be very limited and not have many users on the map.

Hmm, I see your point.

I didnt realise everyone had to have usernames on a map site and all.

I just assumed it would take its data from the group registration forms or something. Thinking about it though, If someone specifically didnt want to be on the map and it was done that way they would be screwed.

I take it something like that happened with the Memberlist. I saw that was taken down at some point for privacy reasons.

Thanks for answering anyway!
