Hi all,

Have a 1999 4,7 v8 limited WJ model and recently someone hit the drivers mirror. The powerfold has been dodgy for a while (hence them not being folded and getting clobbered) but now doesnt work at all, just clicks so I assume the gears etc are shot. Also though, and more of a concern is now the mirror has gone all liquidy inside, it was tinted brown but it seems the brown stuff is some sort of liquid and has been disturbed by the impact.
I have no intentions whatsoever of being ripped off by a Jeep dealer but saw some on Ebay from america. Would a right hand (passenger) American mirror unit complete fit my right hand (drivers side) ? I know I wouldnt get the anti glare which would be a shame as I do like it but cant justify the massive price difference even when taking into account postage from abroad.

Thanks

No they will not fit - unless you intend to lean to the left every time you need to look in the said mirrors.

The convex (sp) will be set for LHD
