« on: December 29, 2008, 08:15:02 PM »

Just replaced the spark plugs on my V8 G/Cherokee .well 7 of them anyway ,when I was fitting one of the back ones it slipped out of the socket and disappeared into the the depths of the engine ,behind the manifold

They recommend replacment every 30000 miles ,mine had done about 35000 and were looking ready to be replaced. After looseing that plug I put a small amount of bluetac in the rubber insert of the plug socket to stop it happening again.

Try the link ,I found it quite helpful   http://www.wjjeeps.com/service/sparkplugs.htm
