SERVICE indicator

HI guys, I know some kind body will have the answer so here's the question. 01 WJ 4.0 with ''perform service''  indicator showing, does it go out after self servicing or is it a dealer reset ?? Thanx, Peter.

reset it of the console menu (there is a reset option), or wait 500 ish miles and it stops pestering you

IIRC what you need to do is press the STEP button on the overhead console until it displays the miles to service info (which probs now shows 0).  Then press and hold the RESET button.

At least I think that's how I did it. :wink:
