1999 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Wheel Caps
« on: March 01, 2009, 12:47:40 AM »

Hi all. :)

I have a '99 Wrangler TJ Sahara and the wheel caps with the Jeep logo are missing off two of the alloys - also the nuts have been replaced with some horrible 3rd party variation. My alloys look ugly. :-D

Thanks!

In standard form the alloys are Grizzly the valve caps are normally the black plastic type (Google search photo)

Bought a few sets of wheel nuts from this seller in the USA.

A damn sight cheaper than dealer prices even with the currency rate being poor at the mo

Thanks. I am considering getting get new alloys because I really like the look of the Mickey Thompson Classic II (http://www.devon4x4.com/products_a/p101 ... wheel.html) and Baja tyres.

My current alloys are 15x7. Can I simply choose a 16 alloy if I want?

Your PCD is 5x4.5 the back spacing will depend on the width of tyre you intend to use -16"inch wheel is not a problem....

After going outside and taking a look at my alloys they don't look like Grizzly's (although the spare wheel definatley is).

I made a quick video of the alloy I have on my Jeep. Any ideas what they are?

Strange how they are aftermarket alloys, but they have a Jeep logo in the middle. They are well ugly though. Ah well. Guess I need to buy some new ones, those Mickey Thompson Classic II look awesome. :) I am also tempted by the Kumho KL71.
