Jeep v's Jet Wash
« on: March 28, 2009, 02:50:58 PM »

As some may have noticed I got the CJ a bit dirty at the weekend.

Outside not to bad, 2 goes through the Asda jet wash to get worst of it off, then a proper clean at home and all back to normal.

Inside was a different story, tried a stiff brush, vacuum etc and didn’t work so decided to try the jet wash on the inside, I did choose water proof vinyl for the seats and a weather proof bed liner and it paid off, so roof off, seats out and drain plugs out and went at it, so far seems all is OK.

I recon the bed liner is one of my better purchases and can recommend getting it done to anyone =P~

Be careful using Asda's (or anywhere else's) jetwash. It fills them full of mud and they don't like it.
Have lots of backup jetwashes as you gradually get banned from each one.

OK, I'll cede to that one, but they might get suspicious as you're their only customer who jetwashes the inside.
Not too many focus owners do that I would have thought.
