dont worry they always look too big to start with. give it a few months and looking at other jeeps and you will be thinking about 33's

Its the joys of getting new sized tyres; you think youve gone too big & wonder if they'll even turn;
as the others say 6months later your used to it & looking at the next size up!
Have you fitted them yet?
YJs are supposed to need 1" lift for 31's; not sure if yours is stock or if this is even true. Also modify your steering stops to avoid a clash on full lock.

I had 31's on a standard yj, only prob was it rubbed on full lock on the springs , nothing else, oh and the old 2.5 struggled a bit on the motorway on long hills, but on the flat it would happily do 60-65 all day

you will need some mild lift for off roading with them on a stock yj or they will rub all over the place and damage yer new tyres. longer shackles will do it. 8-) if your springs are in real good condition ya might get away with it for a bit but it aint ideal. dont mean to scare ya just tellin ya the possibilities involved.

just be aware bigger tyres lead to other vegicle changes which lead to empty pockets and lots of fun off road
