Hi,

Yep that would be me... I've had 10+ XJ's and at least three of them have been turned into a pick up.... catch up with us on www.gnarlylaners.com

Cheers Maf

Right... its back up and running... only took a couple of hours to get all cleaned up and head on, up and running... still got exhaust to fit, but boy does it sound good straight from the manifold  :greggmo:

Plenty of room to work....

Nice and shiny...

Punch hunt tomorrow, as ever all last minute.com, got some stuff done yesterday and finished off today... all set, figures crossed we are through the gremlins of this year....

Major improvements completed all lastminute.com...

Head back on, twin electric fans...

ECU is now in the cabin, we figured the passenger airbag and glove box where proper over rated...

But here's the real improvement... pink fluffy dice, very metal!

Of course these match and do not clash with seatbelt dibbie do's, just thought though when do we ever use seatbelts? can see them getting junked...

Workshop looks ace full of Jeeps!

Haha, XJ was unloved with head gasket gone and an awful bone jarring cheap lift kit, now it has a new lease of life...

But yeah we ain't wired up right, competition today, can't beat a good punch hunt, happy days

Got 1st place in class and third overall, some tough competion, many double winched tricked up trucks so did very well.

Think I really need to get back to a Wrangler though, Cherokee is too long, winch bumper add to this, short wheel base better over big lumps.

Thinking of converting my YJ, simple to lift, I have all the gearing and lockers for it, just employed another mechanic who's good on frabrication, so maybe challenge wings, sliders and figure hugging cage are whats required...

Sadly I have had to sell my lorry and by default my punch hunt Cherokee that has been a lot of fun this year, but time and money are against me and I have now junked the Cherokee and sold all the suspension.

Still have my YJ as my daily, hoping I can keep it, although tough time at the mo.

Maybe see if I shape up as a crewman for punch hunts as they  :icon_super:

Cheers Maf
