I think it's cos they're cheap and plentiful and the architecture has only recently changed.... so from mid 50's ish to mid 90's I'm sure I read that the SBC is the worlds most produced engine :icon_super: making 150 bhp in a cooking engine up to whatever your budget wants.... but 300 is easy and will outlast most of us!! :icon_twisted:

chevys are good strong engines  if i get the chance i would fit a 6.2 v8 diesel hives me a hard on just thinkin about it
