If I get a chance Gaz, I'll try and measure up at the weekend and do a CAD drawing of the required bracket, and e-mail it over to you.

Can your place use AutoCAD drawings (silly question I know, but best to be sure)

Autocad, no probs matey, would be just the job.

Take it this bracket would need to be mild steel as it needs welding to other ferrous bits.

Dont forget the material thickness, very important

would need 4mm mild steel minimum, attaching it to the axle may be a problem, maybe get 2 U bolts in the design to go around the axle tube?

Still lost but I think we have 5mm we could use depending on size of bracket

doesnt have to be complicated, just a U shaped bracket for the track bar to bolt into, and big enough for a solid mount to the axle, "should" be fairly straight forward  :rotflmao:

Humm........ :?

Just had a look see.  Don't think the u bolt idea is a goer, but I need to take a better look.  It will have to incorporate a new steering stabiliser mount too, as this is part of the stock bracket.  Would be nice if I can come up with a bolt on replacement though.

That old axle would have come in real handy KD!
