Hi Lift Jacks

Guys,

I need to get one for the Jeep, is there anything special to look out for, anything to steer clear of etc etc, any advise appreciated

make sure its big enough to cover your lift (if any) and purely personal, go with genuine HiLift

i use a farm jack and a high lift they have both been superb and now getting on for twenty years  they very use full in the workshop the only advantage my high lift has over the farm jack is that the Handel is detachable if you need a bit of pipe for beatin stuff with    BUT they be dangerous thing if you not careful with them

Thanks for the quick replys, so £20 extra for a genuine Hi Lift would be money well spent?

there are videos on youtube of the high lift jacks self releasing allowing the vehicle to lower, so with whatever brand you buy make sure the handle is secured for piece of mind when in a lifted position

Also Hi-lift parts are easily sourced, so when you get your truck stuck up in the air :icon_twisted: :icon_twisted: its a simple repair to sort it all out. Anything like that, Farm Hi-lift, as I have found out don't really like sandy shaley shit in them, or just Slindon when its raining perhaps....

Oh, and learn how to use it, DONT use it at the front or rear, as your truck will fall off, trust me..... :jump_125:
