tie rod end help

can any one remember how many turns when butting the driver side outer tie rod on,forgot to count the turns  whens taking it off,car is a rhd 98 xj 2.5 td.,,,,,,steering is as sloppy as hell.

undo the passenger side - and write it down

Then set up the tracking correctly
