I spoke to Bob at St Austell on the phone today, and later popped in to see him whilst I was passing through.

I made a booking for Thursday over the phone, but when he had a look over the Jeep myself he told me that it didn't seem like a windscreen leak to him, and that getting it pulled could just be throwing unnecessary money at it. As instructed by him I went home and stuck a hosepipe on it, and straight away it flooded from the overhead console.

I called him straight back, and it's going in on Thursday with the assumption that the old screen will break, as he thinks it'll be tricky.
Bob seemed a really nice guy - genuinely helpful, tried to avoid making spend money where it wasn't needed, but once decided that it needed to be replaced he did me a heavily discounted price.

Argh, once again I need advice!

They got the windscreen out today (it broke in the process, but they warned me that it probably would), and they've found three spots of rust underneath. 
I was told over the phone that it should probably be sorted by a body shop, as it'll just come straight back if they prime over it.

The trouble is, there don't seem to be too many places about that can deal with it, I'm really struggling to find one that can do it ASAP, and I've got to get the XJ to the body shop without a windscreen in place!

I know there aren't many of you down this way, but does anyone know what the best plan of attack is on windscreen frame rust, anywhere I could take it to, and also the best way of getting it there (considering I want the repair to last, but don't have much money!)!?
