Door light connecting wire
« on: January 09, 2013, 07:53:25 PM »

So I've been playing around with interior lights that have been bugging me.. found out I had a light under the glove box.. new bulb and magic!
Put an LED light panel in the dome light which makes a mahoosive difference too.
But the interior light comes on with passenger door but not driver door so... shoved me arm up the back to find the switch has no wire connecting to it.. bit dark this eve but I couldn't find the wire thats supposed to connect to it whilst feeling around.. you think previous owner has been messing..? Is the wire meant to be just hanging there..?
Thanks gents.

Drivers door switch connector should come out of the loom fairly level with the switch. It may have just been unplugged by the PO to stop key in or lights on chimes when the door is open. I've recently fitted an LED panel in the dome light and those pictured below (£2/pair off ebay) in the footwell lamps. Doesn't half make a difference.
