POR 15
« on: February 11, 2013, 05:44:30 PM »

Anyone used POR 15..? thinking of tub floor, bits of frame and wheel arches.
Is it worth the cash (it aint cheap) and is all the hype fairly true..?
Its got mixed reviews on the web.
Cheers

Got mine from Frosts and does what it says on the tin....used it on the Dana 60 and 14 Bolt and various new bits of chassis....

get the starter kit of small tins cos once opened they will not keep and lids will get glued shut...... Wear old overalls and most importantly gloves cos otherwise you'll be wearing off for a few weeks.....better to use it when Tis warm....and it's good.....stays on and stays shiny and doesn't  jet wash off.

 :iagree:

Get the '6 pack' of small tins and you wont waste much. Sticks like shit and is OK to paint over with a finish coat.

Used it for years, very good stuff.  When you've finished, stick a couple of layers of cling film over the top of the tin before refitting lid.  It will allow you to get the lid of again for a while! :)
