its all down to what stuff you got mate, disconects,uj,s,greasable shackles and the list goes on.... your best bet is a good torch and a bloody good look mate.

if you have ever had your front/rear prop/shaft overhauled you might have nipples on UJs, the slip yoke and 3 on the Double Cardan Joint, you would need to remove prop shaft to find all 3 on the Cardan.  Also things like disconnects, tube end seals, upper control arms, sway bar bushes in addition to all the original nipples.  I am sure there are some I could have forgotten to list some.  Also any rose joints could have a drop of oil as well.

a normal lithiume based ep grease is good enough
but if you can get a molybdunem based grease super sexy
bottom line do it regular and you shuold not have many probs

either Machine Mart or other similar store, get one of the grease guns which takes the cartridges, a lot less messy than trying to fill from a tub, if you can get a solid pipe and flexi pipe they can be both useful.  You may find you need 2 ends the normal one for sticky out nipples and a needle end for the flat ball bearing sealed ones, I got my needle one from Lighthouse.
