I recently install a 2.5" lift on my TJ, but my almost new 30" BFG ATs looks, well a bit small and out of place on it now..

 I also got a set of 31" BFG MTs, but these tyres are unevenly worn, 2 of them have little treat left, so need to replace the lot and get it back on the Jeep

 so my options are
* BFG MT KM2 - cheapest I can find them is £123 a corner
* Cooper STT - cheapest I can find the is £99 a corner

I know that there is loads of tales on the net re BFG vs Cooper, but going for the the Coopers could save me £100 in total, money towards something else..

So, what's your guys thoughts, experience with either one or both of these tyres.. Or any other radical thoughts...

have both and coopers IMHO look better, and that is my main vibe 

however, not bein able to sling cash around like its mud led me to spend hours trawlin the web and i couldnt find a duff write up for coopers, nor TBH the BFG, but therefore there is no justification on the extra £sss

KM2's are a ruddy good tyre, so much so I have them on two of my vehicles.

To get back to the tyres...

As these new ones will stay on the Jeep.. hows the road manners wet and dry-any preference??

Have a look at the GT Radials Adventuros. I've got them on my XJ, and so far really impressed both on and off road

Have had the older classic BFG muds and Cooper STT on my XJ and did lotsts for on and offroad miles on both 20k+

Nothing really anything between them, I'd go for the Coopers if buying again, they are slightly tougher sidewalls, work a tiny bit better offroad if you air them down low and are slightly better on wet roads but it's all small differences. The price helps too.

Think I'm leaning towards the BFGs... Well at this stage that is
