Best KJ lift
« on: August 17, 2013, 12:29:49 PM »

Hey guys n gals,

I'm getting my hands on my latest acquisition tomorrow - 2004 KJ (Liberty), 3.7 Auto.

Whats the best 2.5/3" lift out there without breaking the bank?

Cheers,
Ric.

Hey Momos!

Pics will follow - I'm looking I think at the skyjacker lift.  The rough country one is more affordable but has some dodgy reviews so i'm a bit unsure.  Have to wait for one of our birds to go stateside though ;)

I'm not gonna go too mad - very little mud here lol but some wadis across the Oman border are fun.

When I was thinking about lifting mine, I joined this forum http://www.lostjeeps.com/

There is plenty of advice on there.

I remember the value for money option (at least for the UK) was to buy the springs and shocks separately (can't remember the codes).  If you have access to cheap/free shipping from the USA, you will have plenty of options.
